The 13 Colonies into 3 REGIONS (DAY 3)
If you were absent today, please complete THIS WORKSHEET using THIS READING (pg 100-105).

LT 1. a. I can examine the regional characteristics of the original 13 colonies.


POD for Prepared Students:
   1. Do NOW
   2. Read the section on YOUR colonies (you may want to use the info for the OTHERS, later).
   3. Game plan as a group- who will perform which portion, agreed upon argument, etc.
   4. PRACTICE.
   5. Debates begin at 10:50AM.

Now that you have reflected on what makes your colonial region BETTER than the others, come together as a group. Have a quick discussion about the main points you will want to make. Once you have decided on your THREE main ideas, you will need to start drafting your arguments. We will hold our TRIANGLE debate at 10:50 today. BE READY!

CRITERIA for SUCCESS: To be successful, you will need to have EACH of your group members contribute a portion of the argument. Time limits have been added to each of the criterion. THIS IS HOW MRS. MARSH is scoring THIS activity.
